sigh if you must is a women-run creative studio that works in films, photography and brand building. Run by 26-year olds Anushka and Surabhi, Team Sigh likes to keep their gaze gentle, believing in showing, not selling and in letting stories breathe–whether it’s through quiet pacing, natural light, or getting someone to talk like they forgot the camera was rolling.

sigh specializes in creating digital films that feel more like conversations than ads. Their unique proposition is the roughness around the edges in a world full of perfectly straight lines. The more raw their creations are, the happier they are with them.

the founders

Anushka is passionate, and finds purpose in her work. Her WhatsApp status reads — “peace, not perfection”.
She’s always found it hard to remain inside the lines while colouring, and she prefers it like that: imperfect and a little on-the-edge.
As a child, she’d daydream of montages by stitching together different pieces of her life against the soundtrack playing in her head. As an adult, she does the same—but on the edit table—with soundtracks no less.
An actor at heart, a storyteller in mind, and a director in soul, she’s full of drama, dreams and song, she’s a true lover of love and stories.

Surabhi, too, is passionate (that’s what makes them work well together). A tech-geek who likes to muse in writing, she has an unparalleled love for good rhythm and problem-solving.
Her ease with technique and technicality fuses intrinsically with her attention to fine detail. Viewing modern science through the lens of Vedic astrology is her hobby and as every other human does, she dreams of one day living a simple towny life as she runs a little café.
